Project Description: Rig Decommissioning

Scope of Work: Assembled a multi-disciplined project team to ensure successful rig decommissioning

Project Outcome: XWells completed the project, including selecting a novel approach to the decommissioning sequence, recognising that the rigs’ superstructures were fatigued, and that it was necessary to adopt an alternative approach (from a health and safety standpoint) from the original lift plan suggested by the engineering company.
